New Orleans Pelicans -7.5 vs Orlando Magic (6:00pm CST)
While the New Orleans Pelicans have had a rough go of it over the last week, this spot is prime for the Pels to grab a big win. Although they have dropped their last four games, those games were wire-to-wire losses to Brooklyn, the Knicks twice, and the red hot Wizards offense. This Magic team is not only the coldest team in the league, they are also one of the worst offensive teams in the league, a great recipe for a Pelicans win. Orlando is 4-7 ATS in April and 2-9 SU. One of those wins came against the Pelicans, however NOP was without Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram. Of their nine losses in April, only two of them were by single digits, one of which happened to be against the Houston Rockets. To hammer it home, the Pelicans find themselves on the outside of the play-in game seeding, and if they have any hope of sliding into that 10th spot, they need a statement win tonight. TTL Pick: New Orleans Pelicans -7.5
Toronto Maple Leafs vs Winnipeg Jets ML (+120) (6:00pm CST)
The Leafs and Jets face off for the 8th time this year in this matchup, and Toronto currently leads the series 4-3. Toronto is 1st in the North Division with 61 points, but Winnipeg is not far behind in 2nd with 57. These teams will play 2 more times after tonight’s matchup, once on this upcoming Saturday and once on 5/14, and we like the Jets’ chances to even up the series in this one. Winnipeg is 3-2 SU in their last 5 games, 6-4 SU over their last 10, and won the last matchup against Toronto 5-2 on 4/15. Toronto is 0-5 SU over their last 5 overall, and will once again be missing key players in Bogosian, Sabourin, and Mikheyev. Connor Hellebuyck will continue to stand on his head in net for the Jets, and shut down any chances the Leafs get in their zone. If Toronto gets into penalty trouble this game could get out of hand quickly, as the Leafs rank 28th in the League in Penalty Kill % and the Jets rank 4th in Power Play Goal %. With this being an important matchup for the Jets if they want to have a shot at the #1 spot, and Toronto seemingly fading at the worst possible time, we’re taking all of the Jets at plus money. TTL Pick: Winnipeg Jets ML (+120)
Washington Capitals vs New York Islanders ML (-126) (6:00pm CST)
The Caps & Isles have met 5 times this season, and Washington holds the current lead at 3-2. The Isles has won the two most recent matchups however, 1-0 & 8-4, and both meetings were played in New York. The Caps are 2-3 SU in their last 5 overall, and are 15-7-2 on the road this year. The Isles are 3-2 SU in their last 5 games, and are 19-2-2 at home this season. With a victory tonight, not only can New York even the season series between these two teams, but can also take 1st place from the Caps in the East Division. The correct team is favored in this matchup, and it may start out as a barn burner, but the Islanders will ultimately pull away for yet another home victory. TTL Pick: New York Islanders ML (-126)
Special Play Of The Day: Triple Play Thursday Parlay
LA Angels ML (+118) vs Houston Astros (7:10pm CST)
The Angels head to Houston to take on a struggling Astros team that has lost nine of their last ten, and is 1-5 at home. Houston will still be without Jose Altuve for this matchup, while the Angels’ stars are a full go. The Angels have won six of the last seven matchups between these teams, including a split to begin this season. We’re riding with the solid offense of the Angels up against an Astros team that is gasping for life.
Miami Marlins vs San Francisco Giants Under 8.5 (8:45pm CST)
Both of these teams enter the matchup with a positive record to the under. The Giants are among the top under teams in the league with a 12-6 record to the under, while Miami is 8-7-2 to the under. At home the Giants are 5-1 to the under, and as a favorite they are 7-2 to the under. The pitching matchup is favorable, as both starters enter the game with a sub 3.00 ERA.
San Diego Padres vs LA Dodgers -1.5 (+118) (9:10pm CST)
This should be one of, if not the best matchup of the 2021 season. Today we love the Dodgers for a few reasons. Walker Buehler takes the mound for the Dodgers, and not only is he an absolute stud, he has had success against San Diego. On the flip side, this will be a scheduled bullpen day for the Padres. Ryan Weathers takes the mound for SD, and he has had strong success this season, however he won’t last more than three or four innings. Last week, this same matchup took place, with Weathers getting the start, however, the Dodgers jumped all over the bullpen of the Padres. We’re looking for more of the same this time around.

The Super Bowl Champ and 5x Pro-Bowler grabbed a great deal of spotlight on those Seahawk teams that were absolutely loaded with top tier talent.
